OUR STORY

Victory Chapel began with a vision in the hearts of Paul and Alli Records, who felt called to bring a spirit of community, worship, and hope to San Marcos. After a year of foundational gatherings — including interest meetings, Bible studies, small groups, and monthly worship services — Victory Chapel officially launched on April 21, 2019, in the San Marcos Rec Hall.

Our opening celebration included a community-wide 5,000-piece Egg Hunt in the park, followed by our first worship service in the Rec Hall. This day marked the beginning of our church family, dedicated to worship, prayer, and a shared vision for the future.

By February 2020, Victory Chapel found a more permanent home at 312 W Martin Luther King Dr., near the heart of downtown San Marcos. This space became a center for spiritual growth and outreach, where we continued to serve and expand.

In May 2024, Paul and Alli Records accepted a new ministry role at the UPCI headquarters in St. Louis, MO. With their transition, God called Tim and Susan Vacca to lead Victory Chapel, guiding us into a new season of growth and community impact.

Today, our church family continues to flourish. As part of this growth, we launched the “Victory Promise” campaign, aimed at securing a larger facility to better serve our congregation and community.

Victory Chapel is affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church International and remains closely connected to our founding church, New Life Austin (www.newlifeaustin.com).
